My wife, Apple, had her warts removed two weeks ago thru a natural herbal cautery, which Amazing Touch offers.

Do these words strike you with a HHA???

You might be hearing this storage technique from seed producers and distributors.

Well, this is just the best way to store your seeds.

Webster, Google, Wikipedia. . . they all will tell you that hermetic means ‘air tight’.

That’s it! Hermetic storage is nothing but “air tight storage”. For as long as you protect your seed from air, you are already doing hermetic storage.

I wonder if Daniel Bernoulli also watered his plants . . .
A common principle in watering plants, and perhaps one of the basic I believe, is the application of Bernoulli’s principle:
• Water is only being absorbed through the root system.
• Absorption is induced by air movement.
• Stomata in the leaves is a hole that, somehow and so complex, extend all the way to the root system.
As air passes on the surfaces of the leaves, a suction effect (negative pressure as described in the Bernoulli’s principle) is created in the stomata resulting to an absorption effect in the root system.
A very good analogy to this is when you drink your cola using a straw.

Remember: water plants through the roots, not leaves.

Today was born Yousef.

I can’t imagine a seed to germinate nine months after sowing.

He reminds me of the first leaves that come out from a seed.

His rolled fingers and his soft skin make resemblance of them.

I pledge to water him everyday.

I couldn’t wait to see him grow and become a tree.

Now I am a gardener and a parent.

Welcome to the Christian world my son.

Tips on storing seeds

Use hermetic (air tight) enclosures. These could be glass jars, cans, plastic wares.
Store dry seeds only. Remember, seeds have their own storage moisture content. Most seeds are stored at 5-7% M.C.
Keep away from moisture. Germination of seeds is influenced by, as primary factor, water absorption. Effects of other factors such as light and temperature vary with species.
Refrigerate. Low temperature keeps seeds inactive.
